The American Horse Council

Your national voice in Washington, D.C. The AHC is proud to be your association that represents all segments of our nation's diverse horse industry. The American Horse Council works daily to represent your equine interests and opportunities. Founded in 1969, the AHC was organized by a group of horsemen concerned about federal legislation affecting their industry. They recognized the need for national and coordinated industry action in Washington, D.C. The AHC promotes and protects all horse breeds, disciplines and interests by communicating with Congress, federal agencies, the media and the industry itself each and every day.

Hands On Horse Massage

My name is Sharon Collier and I am the owner of Hands On Horse Massage, located in the Central Valley of California. We provide equine massage services to ensure your horse is able to move and work in the greatest amount of comfort and balance possible. I've had a love for all animals, but especially horses, for all my life. I've been around horses and have been riding since I was a baby. It's always been my goal and dream to have a career associated with horses. In addition to this service, I've worked as a veterinarian’s assistant for more than ten years. I truly love this "work". What else could one ask for than to have the ability to work with animals all day long? When I decided I wanted to do more work specifically with horses, I was led to equine massage. I started doing some research and right away I just knew that this was what I wanted to do. My desire was to be able to provide horses with pain relief and to help them generally feel good overall. Please feel free to read more and contact me should you feel the need to utilize my services or have any questions. Again, thanks for visiting.

Stacy Westfall Horsemanship Training

Even as a young child growing up in Maine, Stacy loved horses and rode whenever she had the chance. She got her first pony, Misty, when she was six. Her mother Sherri was Stacy’s only instructor in riding and training until she went to college. As Sherri looked on she would ask questions that prodded Stacy to think deeply about the mindset of the animals. “Why do you think Misty just did that?” or “How do you think you could get Bay to want to cooperate? What is she thinking?” The habit of getting inside the horse’s head, of thinking like a horse, became second nature to Stacy.
